At the very core of every installation is a customer that has a vision of how their system should work. Crosstec has found that every project, no matter what industry or application, can always be broken down into very simple functional requirements.

Once we merge the customer's vision with the basic automation building blocks at our disposal, the job becomes a focused effort to bring this vision into reality. It doesn't matter if it's a meat packing line or a pharmaceutical bioreactor, the customer's knowledge of their domain and our expertise in automation and control, result in a successful implementation time after time.

Founded in 1998, our automation roots stem primarily from the textile, aggregate (quarry), and biotech industries. As time passed, many of our customer contacts moved from job to job and oftentimes industry to industry. Fortunately, as a result of the relationships and friendships we have built with our earliest customers, we have had opportunities to work in many different industrial and commercial environments. We have a great appreciation for all the working experience we have gained!

Never turning down a challenge, Crosstec has uncovered new opportunities in the manufacturing and packaging industries. While helping solve the automation and data needs of our new clients, we're always experiencing new things and can often turn old ideas into new solutions.

The snapshot to the right shows a packaging facility where we came to the aid of an OEM to help them provide a completely automated solution to their customer. At the same time, we were able to integrate the OEM's data systems with the end user's product database at the Enterprise level. As as result, this has given the OEM an unprecedented competitive advantage in the packaging arena.

More and more often, installations arise where data gathering and monitoring were sacrificed initially due to oversight or simply budget constraints. Oftentimes, there is a conception that not addressing these items during the design and implementation phase of a project can place limitations down the road when data requirements become more apparent. We have found that this is simply not the case in most, if not all, situations. With the advent of today's data standards, networking, and robust database systems, managing your data ... from collection to storage to analysis ... is not a problem.
